Educational Programs
William’s School provides students with an individualized learning environment where we believe all students can thrive when given the right support. Typically staffed at one teacher for every 2-3 students, our program is ideal for students who need individualized learning and small ratio classrooms. A custom packet of therapies can be added and embedded to support activities in their daily schedule. Therapies can include any combination of Speech therapy, Occupational therapy, and Applied Behavior Analysis. Schedules are highly individualized to each student in our program.
Program Tracks
Students are placed into instructional tracks based on their academic, developmental, communication, and functional needs. Each track has a distinct instructional focus and pace, while all students remain part of one unified school model and access integrated educational, ABA, speech-language, and occupational therapy services.
Track placement is reviewed annually based on each student’s progress, current needs, and individualized goals. This review helps ensure that students continue to receive instruction within the track that best supports their development and educational growth. Track placement may be adjusted as a student’s needs and skills change.
Preschool
Our preschool program is designed as an inclusion model for students 2-5 years old. The program includes both individuals with and without special learning or behavioral needs. Our peer model students provide age-appropriate models for language and play. The small ratio classroom allows for individualized instruction at all learning levels. Our use of hands-on learning techniques and our focus on social emotional learning and independence in the classroom prepares our students for their entrance to a Kindergarten program

Academic Track
The Academic Track supports students developing foundational academic skills. Instruction focuses on reading, writing, and mathematics at each student’s current instructional level rather than strictly by chronological grade.
Students receive individualized academic instruction while also developing communication, social-emotional, and functional life skills. The goal is to build academic competence, independence, confidence, and meaningful application of learning.

Life Skills Track
The Life Skills Track supports students who benefit from highly individualized instruction in functional academics, communication, daily living skills, and adaptive behavior.
Instruction emphasizes independence, self-care, communication, social engagement, safety, and functional skills needed for participation at home, school, and in the community. Students typically benefit from smaller instructional ratios and a highly structured learning environment.

Social Skills Track
The Social Skills Track supports students who need additional support with emotional regulation, social communication, behavioral functioning, and access to academic learning.
Instruction combines modified academic content with explicit teaching of self-regulation, social understanding, communication, and classroom participation. Students benefit from increased scaffolding, smaller instructional groups, and individualized pacing while continuing to develop functional academic and communication skills.

Summer Camp
Our summer camp offers 7 consecutive weeks of structured daily activities for students looking for consistency in schedules and routines in the summer months.
