Help Our Students Thrive

William's School is the only IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Austin offering school services to autistic and neurodiverse children without exclusion for severe behaviors, communication difficulties, or complex medical needs. We provide crucial support to meet the educational, therapeutic, and social-emotional needs of an oft-underserved population of children and young adults.

Sustaining support comes from individual donors, foundation and corporate grants, volunteers, in-kind gifts, local businesses, and corporate sponsorships. With your continued support, our students will keep learning and thriving in a nurturing school environment.

Per the CDC (2022), 1 in 44 children will be diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, and the Austin metroplex is growing with young families. Our organization meets a critical need in the community. Building capacity to broaden our outreach is vital as we all move forward.

Your donations are fully tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law.

Annual Fund

Your gift to our Annual Fund helps bridge the gap between our operating costs and what families pay in tuition.

Operating Costs Include

+ Educational Curricula
+ Classroom and Therapeutic + Technology
+ Library and Therapy Spaces
+ Playgrounds
+ Sensory-Friendly Classrooms

Most importantly, our Annual Fund ensures that we retain highly qualified and caring educators to instruct and develop our children in beneficial low student-to-educator ratio classrooms.

William's School annually hosts a Signature Fundraiser to support our Annual Fund.

Stay tuned for details of our Spring 2023 fundraiser!

Online Fundraisers

William's School also participates in online peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns at Amplify Austin Day (March) and Giving Tuesday (November).

Local business and corporate sponsorship opportunities are available for our signature fundraiser and year-round support.

Stay In Touch

William's School welcomes volunteers from our community - including current and former families, neighbors, nonprofit partners, businesses, and corporations. We coordinate volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups - with a strong preference for scheduling outside of school operating hours to minimize disruption to students and staff.

Typical volunteer projects and activities include physical infrastructure repair and maintenance, technology improvements, staff professional development, student social programming, and special event support.

Household Items

We are always collecting a variety of office and household items for different projects around the school, as well as hoarding those items that make for fabulous arts and crafts material.
